Goldendoodle/Bernedoodle Purchase Agreement

BUYER AGREES:

  1. To have puppy examined within 7 days of purchase by a licensed veterinarian to validate this guarantee and the health of the puppy.

  2. The puppy is not being purchased for resale and will never be resold to a pet shop, puppy mill, animal shelter, or agent of the same.

  3. To continue with appropriate vet exams, and follow all recommendations of vet in regard to shots and proper care. Failure to comply with and provide documentation of these requirements voids all guarantees.

  4. The value of the puppy for the purpose of this guarantee is solely the purchase price of the puppy, and does not include any additional expenses such as shipping, vet exams, or other incurred by the buyer. Also does not include breeding rights purchased.

  5. To keep the puppy in good physical condition and proper weight. Provide proper care and nourishment.

  6. Puppy is being purchased as a "pet only". That they will have their puppy spayed or neutered by 12 months of age and proper documentation will be sent back to the breeder unless breeding rights were purchased. If puppy is not spayed or neutered puppy is then considered to be a breeding puppy and buyer will then owe the breeder an additional $1000 for breeding rights.   INITIAL______

  7. Buyer understands that breeder can not guarantee size of any puppy. We give your our very best guesstimate based on the size of parents – but sometimes mother nature has a mind of her own!  INITIAL______

BREEDER AGREES:

  1. Breeder guarantees that puppy has had proper care to date and has been examined by a licensed veterinarian. Puppy has received first shots and been dewormed at the proper times. Records will be furnished at the time of purchase. If within 7 days of receiving puppy he/she is examined by a reputable veterinarian, and the health of the puppy is found to be at risk due to a congenital defect – owner shall notify breeder and provide a written statement from 2 licensed vets describing puppy’s condition. Owner shall return the puppy and papers to the breeder within 3 days of the exam. This does not include worms, fleas, mites, coccidian, giardia, or any other parasites as they are common in dogs and puppies. (Any puppies that go out of state- return expenses will be at the buyer’s expense.)

  2. Breeder is not responsible if puppy contracts a communicable disease after leaving breeder’s possession.

  3. 2 year health guarantee – Breeder guarantees puppy against any congenital defect causing death of or making euthanasia necessary until 2 years of age. In this event a replacement puppy would be provided from the next available litter of the same breed. (umbilical hernias or luxating patellas often resolve as puppies grow and are not considered a defect warranting a return.)

  4. In the case of sudden demise of puppy, breeder must receive a written notice of the puppy’s death from the owner’s vet along with a necropsy report stating the cause of death.

  5. Breeder guarantees good health and no hereditary defects. Breeder does not guarantee against communicable diseases such as parvo, distemper, rabies, etc.

  6. If a nonfatal congenital defect is discovered, a report must be sent from two different veterinarians stating the congenital problem and the recommendation for treatment. At this time buyer can either send the puppy back to the breeder and receive a replacement puppy from an upcoming available litter of the same breed. Or if they choose to keep their puppy, breeder will help pay for medical bills to help correct the problem – not to exceed $2500.

To be covered by this guarantee, Puppy must be owned by original owner named in this agreement.

The following will void all guarantees:

  1. Evidence of neglect or abuse.

  2. Previous related trauma (Broken bones, related injuries, etc)

  3. Dog has been subjected to strenuous exercise before a year old

  4. Dog has been bred before 12 months of age.

Please call me if you have any questions or concerns about your puppy. I am here to help and support you throughout the life of your puppy!! If for whatever reason you can no longer care for your puppy I will always take them back. NO questions asked!

THIS CONTRACT IS A LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT. ANY COURT COSTS AND ATTORNEY FEES NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THIS CONTACT SHALL BE PAID BY THE BUYER IN THE STATE OF UTAH. THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF UTAH, COUNTY OF UTAH, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL GOVERN THE INTERPETATION OF THIS CONTRACT. AGREEMENT REPRESENTS THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARTIES. BREEDER AND BUYER HAVE MADE NO OTHER AGREEMENTS, PROMISES, REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT. HEALTH GUARANTEE APPLIES TO ORIGINAL BUYER AND IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE.
